John Butterfield presents the trophy to BarbadosBarbados Challenge 2006: in Barbados!

Updated 23:00 24 October

CSSC London's team of some 150 people have been in Barbados - most arrived on Wednesday 11 October, the rest on Thursday. After comfortable flights thanks to the excellent service provided through Virgin Atlantic both flights landed on time at Grantley Adams Airport Barbados. We've been here to take on local civil service and other teams.

The events got underway in earnest on Friday with volleyball, netball, badminton, tennis, road tennis, petanque, darts, pool, dominoes, cribbage and so on...  We had the dry triathlon on Saturday, and Sunday was another very busy (and for some, long) day with the main outdoor events, and quizzes in the evening. Monday was the Virgin beach party and prize giving. Results are below (subject to final confirmation). We've now added some from photos from after the competition, to give a flavour of the scenery and trips and activities on offer.

Note: your last chance to qualify for the autumn 2007 trip is very soon. More info...
