CSSC London Barbados Challenge Darts

The final qualifiing event for the 2006 Barbadsos Challenge trip
- mens and ladies darts - was held on
St Patricks Day, Friday 17 March.
In the Ladies competition, 6 pairs were whittled down to
the eventual winners, Gill Santos and Debbie Flunder, from CPS
Ludgate
Hill.
Having qualified in 2005 in the
dominoes competition, Gill and Debbie were determined to return
to Barbados this year, and came through to
triumph in the ladies pairs. Well done.
In a very keenly fought mens pairs competition,
the Home Office Croydon
pair of Wayne Tyer and
Tony Utteridge came through - in their first ever CSSC London event
- to claim the last places on this years
trip to Barbados. To say they were overjoyed with the result would
be an understatement!
Well done to all of you and we'll see you all at
Gatwick in October with your bags packed.
Don't forget your best arrows - the Bajans have yet to be beaten
on home soil...
