Civil Service Riding Club
The CSRC is a fun club for anyone who is interested in horses. We arrange a variety of ridden, non-ridden and social equine activities for all abilities from complete beginner to advance riding. Being part of a club means we can negotiate discounts and get access to places not available to the general public.
More information is available from our website – www.csrc.org.uk . However, here’s a list of some of the things we do -
- dressage lessons at Hyde Park Barracks for intermediate and advanced riders.
- beginner, novice and intermediate lessons at Vauxhall City Farm.
- dressage and jumping lessons for all abilities at Trent Park Equestrian Centre (through the BBC riding club);
- dressage and jumping lessons, and hacks around Great Windsor Park for all abilities at Flemish Farm.
- monthly polo lessons in Hertfordshire for all abilities.
- Inter-club competitions for all abilities.
- regular newsletters.
- non-ridden horsey related activities such as trips to major competitions, visits to the Met police horses
- social events such as summer picnics, Argentinean BBQs, monthly pub nights and other social drinks social drinks.
- the club sits on the British Horse Society London branch, allowing us to link into the wider London riding community. For example, we’ve been involved in working with the Olympic committee on the Olympic legacy.
