Activities and events: Learn a language!
We are currently organising activities as follows. Please note that to take part in any of the language events you need to be a CSSC Member.
LANGUAGE CONVERSATION GROUPS
Alongside the courses, we're also running conversation groups.
All Conversation groups are ongoing - you can just turn up as and
when you can. All run from 5.30pm until the last person goes home or
the bar shuts, whichever comes first!
There is a restaurant on site if
you wish to eat while you chat.
Please note you must have a little knowledge of the Language to
participate in these groups.
German/Deutsch:
Every Tuesday - German Conversation Group - Free to all CSSC Members or
associate members - Meet in Chadwick Street Bar area - Run by Michael
Wedding
French/Français:
Every Wednesday - French Conversation Group - Free to all CSSC Members
or associate members - Meet in Chadwick Street Bar area - Run by Michael

Italian/Italiano:
Every Thursday - Italian Conversation Group - Free to all CSSC Members

Russian, Japanese, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, French beginners classes are currently offered, as follows. We hope that intermediate level courses will start after Christmas.
RUSSIAN

Cost: Trial Class £15.00 or discount for quarterly booked classes
Level: Beginners & Intermediate
JAPANESE
Date: Tuesday 2nd September - 4th November 08
Cost: £70.00 pp for course (based on 15 people)
Level: Beginners
SPANISH

Cost: £70.00 pp for course (based on 15 people)
Level: Beginners
Practising language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Plenty of oral practice in class i.e. role plays
GERMAN
Date: Thursday 18th September - 20th November 08
Cost: £70.00 pp for course (based on 15 people)
Level: Beginners
Speaking, reading and listening. A small amount of writing maybe carried out within the course if time permits.
ITALIAN

Cost: £100.00 pp for course (based on 15 people)

Cost: £70.00 p/p for 10 week course based on 15 people.
