We make our way though the dark alleys and byways of the 2000-year old City. In the evening, as the City begins to close down, we think we're alone. But are we? What was that noise? That movement behind a window where no-one has lived for years? What can that scraping noise be? the constant bangings? and muffled footsteps in the deserted upstairs room of The Viadult Tavern which defeated even the best efforts of the exorcist brought in by the BBC. We don't ignore the bloody hangings and burnings that so excited the crowds. Something evil this way comes... |
